Each epoch in our motherland is marked by a developmental character that distinguishes it from others. The current period distinguishes the official and unofficial focus on Education in general, and Higher Education in particular. Nothing demonstrates this more clearly than the widespread of universities and colleges throughout the country.
Private Public Education has long been a major pillar of education in the Kingdom that assures an essential developmental process of the future of the Kingdom. Succeeding to it, Private University Education, relatively a new facet of the educational process, has found considerable popularity amongst various spheres of Saudi society. Rationale of the country portrays that it will prove a catalytic agent for Higher Education in terms of Quality as well as staunch Human Resouce Development.
With the sprout of Public/Private Universities and Colleges, a demanding need arose to expand Higher Education Programs (at the Master's and Doctoral levels). The Ministry of Higher Education commendably responded to this call by encouraging internal and external scholarship programs through chartering quality entities on academic as well as administrativ levels to excel in this field.
By the grace of Allah, the Minister of Higher Education approved the establishment of Al-Faisal College for Graduate Studies on 28/12/1428, which herein became Arab East College for Graduate Studies, with a number of Master Programs in various Applied and Administrative disciplines.
In addition to the above, His Excellency approved the establishment of Al-Faisal College for Applied Studies on 28/12/1428 H with a number of Bachelor Degree Programs in variety of Administrative and Applied disciplines. On 3rd Jamadi ul Awwal, 1441 H, his Excellency, the Minister. approved the establishment of the Arab East College of Law. It is hoped that the Arab East Colleges (the College of Graduate Studies, the College of Applied Studies, and the College of Law) will prove a source of Higher Education, contributing to the needs of citizens as well as residents of the holy land.
May Allah shower blessings of peace, safety, and knowledgeable leadership upon our nation under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz hands in hand with the his Crown Prince, his Royal Highness, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. May Allah safeguard them all.
